How does the service provider selection process work?

When sourcing services on Cloudscene Marketplace, you can compare quotes from multiple different service providers, globally. Selecting the optimum vendor to fulfil your company’s requirements might require some consideration.

To shortlist service providers, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Cloudscene account and go to the Source section of My Marketplace
  2. Go to the Listings tab on the left-hand side to see all of your active listings
  3. Click on the listing for which you wish to view quotes and shortlist service providers
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the listing where you’ll find the Bids tab – this details all service provider who have provided a quote for this listing
  5. Click on Bids and you’ll have the options to View Bid, Shortlist, or mark Unsuccessful for each service provider
  6. Click Shortlist for each service provider you wish to move to the next stage of the selection process. They’ll be notified that they’ve been shortlisted for your listing
  7. You’ll see each shortlisted service provider now under the Shortlisted tab

You might make your final choice on a service provider/s based on competitive pricing, contract terms, or a number of other reasons. When you’re ready, you can easily select and manage successful and unsuccessful service provider/s in My Marketplace in your Cloudscene account.

To select a successful service provider, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your listing and scroll down to the progress section with the Bids tab and the Shortlisted tabs at the bottom.
  2. You can select a successful service provider/s from either the Bids tab (which shows you all service providers who have submitted a bid for the listing as well as their bid) or the Shortlisted tab (which shows all of your shortlisted service providers if you have chosen to undertake this process as above).
  3. From either tab, you can use the buttons ‘Successful’ and ‘Unsuccessful’ to select which service provider/s you have chosen to fulfil your listing requirements and which ones you haven’t. These service providers will then move into the Successful and Unsuccessful tabs, respectively.
  4. The service providers, whether they’re successful or unsuccessful, will be notified of your decision.
  5. Once you have accepted a bid/s, your contact details will become available to the successful service provider/s so they can contact you to fulfil your requirements outside of the Cloudscene platfom.
